Inspiring musical excellence and fostering creativity since 2008. Discover our story, mission, and commitment to exceptional music education.
What started as a small piano studio in 2008 has grown into one of the region's most respected music academies.
Harmony Academy was founded by renowned pianist and educator Dr. Sarah Matthews with a simple yet powerful vision: to make high-quality music education accessible to students of all ages and backgrounds. What began in her home studio with just five piano students has blossomed into a thriving academy serving over 300 students annually.
Our journey has been marked by countless student achievements, from first recitals to conservatory acceptances. We've watched shy beginners transform into confident performers, and have been privileged to nurture the next generation of musicians, educators, and music lovers.
Today, Harmony Academy stands as a beacon of musical excellence in our community, offering comprehensive instruction across multiple instruments while maintaining the personalized attention and nurturing environment that has always been our hallmark.

Founder & Director
"Every student has a unique musical voice waiting to be discovered. My greatest joy is helping them find and develop that voice."
The visionary behind Harmony Academy's success and growth.
Dr. Sarah Matthews brings over two decades of performance and teaching experience to Harmony Academy. A graduate of some of the world's most prestigious musical institutions, she has dedicated her career to making exceptional music education accessible to students of all backgrounds.
As a concert pianist, Sarah has performed in venues across North America and Europe, recording three critically acclaimed albums. However, her true passion lies in education, where she has touched the lives of hundreds of students throughout her career.
Sarah's teaching philosophy centers on meeting each student where they are and building from their individual strengths and interests. She believes that technical excellence and musical expression must develop hand-in-hand, and that the joy of music-making should never be sacrificed for achievement.
